Residents, please be on the lookout for the annual assessment in the next couple of weeks. They are going to be mailed out a little later due to the snowstorm that just occurred. The assessment is $350, a slight increase from last year due to the unforeseen summer storms. The assessment is due by 3/31/25.
The Plainview Residents’ Association is responsible for all maintenance and the overall appearance of our neighborhood. Due to two large storms in May and in September, the HOA was hit with over 35 areas of storm damage in our common areas and islands. These storms cost the Association nearly $30,000 for clean-up and removal. Many areas included very large trees that were uprooted and hit many other trees with countless limbs and trees downed by the storms. There were several large trees in the islands that came down and the roots had to be removed. We plan on replacing those trees in early spring.
The Plainview Residents’ Association board of directors continues to work hard to maintain Plainview’s standards and improve the needs of the neighborhood. Please pay on time to help us keep Plainview looking great! Please remember there is a $75 late fee, if payment is not received by 3/31. A lien will be placed against all properties with an unpaid balance along with attorney fees.
An attractive neighborhood is not only a pleasant place to live in, but it also further enables the property values to continue to appreciate. We thank you for your confidence.
