I’m sharing a message from Jeffersontown Public Works about the winter storm. We appreciate Public Works for all that they do to help keep us safe from this winter storm. Stay safe out there!!
Good evening friends, checking back in, we hope all of you and your loved ones are safe sound and warm. This storm is a long continuous battle, we will fight it as we go, it will be sometime tomorrow, probably afternoon to go into clean up mode. We have experienced serveral cul de sacs with numorous cars in them, the trucks cant get around them, if you see they have not been cleaned, that is why.
According to the news, they are expecting up to another 4 inches of snow, it already is a challange to move the snow as it is already deep on the side of the roadways. Unfortunately this is also in the ends of your driveways. Once snow gets to about 4 inches, it makes it hard to see the roadways and edges, Plows will end up in yards, scraping sod and so on, Please call Public Works during the week 267-7273, and we will collect all the addresses on yards we made a mess in, and will promise you at a better date, we will return to put your yard back to your expectancy. Thank you for your understanding and patience with that.
Recap, we are here until the storm is over and clean up has been completed. We appreciate everyones support and patience for the duration of this event.
Stay safe, stay home, binge watch some movies.
Thanks all
Your friends at Jeffersontown Public Works Department
